OFW to join J and P 9-Ball tilt

MANILA---After the successful staging of the Abu Dhabi 9-Ball Championship won by reigning US Open 9-ball Champion Carlo Biado, Overseas Filipino Worker Jayson Nuguid this time will showcase his talent when the J and P 9-Ball Cup 2021 tournament gets underway on December 6 to 11, 2021 at the House Manila Pool Bar & Lounge, basement 1 of Holiday Inn Express, Resorts World Manila.

“I hope to do well in the upcoming J and P 9-Ball Cup 2021 tournament," said Nuguid who hails from Cavite City who works as a Tournament Manager and International Billiards Organizer at Power Break Billiards Hall in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Jesse Gonzales Cambosa Sr., director of the Billiards Sports Confederation of the Philippines (BSCP) under the leadership of Aristeo “Putch” Puyat has something to say in the upcoming 9-ball event.

“J&P is basically an executive type of amateur pool tournament and acknowledged as the most popular pool amateur tournament in the country.” said Jesse Gonzales Cambosa Sr. who is also the top honcho of DMC Entertainment and Production management.

"Fast approaching as the biggest amateur pool tournament in the country happening on December 6 to 11 over at House Manila Pool Bar & Lounge, basement 1 of Holiday Inn Express, Resorts World Manila," he added.

The winner will fly to Japan in an all-expense paid trip to compete in the Japan Tournament next year in this Games and Amusements Board (GAB) sanctioned tournament which offers a total pot prize of P108,000 to the winners.
