Over The Board Chess Tourney Set in Cainta

MANILA---The Atty. Ellen Nieto Over The Board Chess Tournament gets underway on November 20, 2021 (Saturday), 11 a.m. at the Goldland Chess Club, Village East in Cainta, Rizal.
The champion will receive P2,500 while the second P1,500 and third P1,000. The top Elementary, Highschool, College, Senior, PWD, Goldland, Cainta, Lady, Media and youngest participant will each earn P500.
No less than 11 year old Al-Basher "Basty" Buto, youngest National Master in Cainta, Rizal and Atty. Ellen Nieto are expected to deliver their inspirational messages to the participants of the one-day affair.
"We do this to promote chess in the grass roots level," said tournament manager Anthony Avellaneda.-Marlon Bernardino-
