MANILA, Philippines---Team Battle is a unique online tournament that may feature 20 players in each province with the Top 15 scorers count in Lichess Arena Platform. Over-the-board gathering is not physically possible under the current circumstances but the Team Battle will serve the purpose of reminding us of these important concepts: the celebration of diversity, the exchange of ideas, the sportsmanship, and the mutual respect between people and cultures."
Organized by Engrs. Oliver Daitol, Oriental Mindoro Chess Federation (OMCFI) President and Ernie Faeldonia, Romblon Chess Club Secretary General, the match is on its 3rd of undoubtedly many series to come.

On the 3rd encounter last September 8, 2021, the Mindoro Tamaraws made sure that it will have a different outcome. Indeed, it was sweet revenge as the Tamaraws won the event 186-168.

We were able to match their top scorers almost point by point while our remaining players proved better that the other team,” said Team Manager AGM Emmanuel Asi.
RMCT fielded their top players NM Jasper Faeldonia, Bryan Blair Fallarme, Doc. Jenny Mayor, Neph Bantang, Ernz Faeldonia, Carlito Faina, Jr., Joel Forcadas, Christian Servanez, John Paul, Canulo and Jher Morada.
