ROMBLON MARBLES TROUNCED ORIENTAL MINDORO TEAM

MANILA, Philippines---Romblon Marble Chess Team bounced back in the last quarter of the friendly match, "ROMBLON VS. ORIENTAL MINDORO TEAM BATTLE" to win the championship crown with a final score of 112 - 97.

Oriental Mindoro lead as much as 20 points from the early round up to the game's last quarter. Going to the final minutes of the game, Jasper Faeldonia from Odiongan, Romblon who just recently won 2nd place in the SEA Games qualifying, NSYCC U17 semifinals Champion, NAGCC Grand Finalist, stepped up scoring 20 points to lead the RMCT team into the Championships.

Jasper Faeldonia, also a board 1 player of Arellano University in the NCAA under the tutelage of NM/AGM/FA Rudy Ibanez was supported by fellow Romblomanons; Jayson San Jose Visca, Bryan Blair Fallarme, Neph Bantang, AGM Joseph HajiYusuf Riano Villanueva Galindo, Carlito Faina Jr. Joel Forcadas, Christian Ygerr Servanez, John Paul Canulo & Jher Jr Morada.

Oriental Mindoro Chess Federation Inc. was bannered by Alfred Dillupac, who got support from fellow Mindoreneos Jemar Jem Latombo, Ronald Berdera, Leo Penaredondo, Joselito Asi, Oliver Daitol, Ivan Jerick Raymundo, Rainer Labay, Mark Del Rosario, & AGM Emmanuel Asi.

Congrats Romblon Marbles Chess Team and thanks to our RCC President James F. Fadrilan & Vice-President Dr. Jenny Mayor who always give support to the team.
