OJ Reyes Begins Chess Training

PH chess prodigy Oshrie Jhames “OJ” Constantino Reyes begins rigid training in his place at Dila-Dila, Santa Rita, Pampanga.
Reyes has already racked up a total of 50 to 100 puzzles per day, 2 to 4 hours chess lesson alongside playing online chess games including matchup series, but is expected to double that in a matter of days.

OJ will be seeing in action in the semifinals of the National Age Group Chess Championships as well the National Youth & School Championships in the month of May according to Jubail, Kingdom of Saudia Arabia based Jimmy Reyes, father and coach of OJ.

The 9-year-old Reyes, a grade 4 student of EZEE, Guagua, Pampanga, is on a roll as far as online chess tournament is concern.

Fondly called OJ in the chess world, among his latest achievements are winning the 2021 National Youth & School Championship, Visayas leg Qualifying Under 15, the 2021 National Youth & School Championship, North Luzon leg qualifying Under 13 and the 2021 GM Eugene Torre Search for Kiddies Grand Master.
Last Year, Reyes has spent time learning the training methods of siblings Dale and Darry Bernardo.

OJ also won the 2nd leg Worldwide under 12 East Division, Front Wheel Singapore under 12 Chess Arena, 19th Rising Phoenix 14 under, ESMI Online blitz age group chess Qualifying and 6-times champion in BCA online kiddies tournament.-Marlon Bernardino-
