Making it rain: Warriors drench the Sacramento Kings, 137-106

The forecast was foggy, breezy and chilly with outdoor temperatures reaching 59 and dipping to 49 degrees Fahrenheit---typical winter weather in Mr. Herb Caen's Baghdad by the Bay.
But inside the Chase Center for four quarters last night, it was hot and heavy as the host Warriors rained 'threes', seemingly at will from all angles, on the visiting Kings of Sacramento.
Leading the way is the Western Conference player of the week, Stephen Curry who turned in 30 points (9/18 FG and 5/12 three-pointers), 9 rebounds and 8 dimes in 31 minutes of play.
All 10/13 of the Dubs starting five and secondary team made 3-pointers---53.5% on 23/43 from downtown San Francisco.
Warrior scoring guard , #15 Mychal Mulder, once of Canada by way of the Miami Heat, made a perfect 4/4 from beyond the arc, but withheld his last shot with 1 second left in the game, as a courtesy to the visiting team.
The Golden State Warriors resembled the ole Dubs bombardiers scoring 137 points on 52.6% (51/97 FG).
Forward Andrew Wiggins showed his true form with 16 points (from near and 2/4 downtown), 3 rebounds and 5 assist in 28 minutes.
Wingman Kelly Oubre, Jr. found his range with 18 points (4/6 downtown), 3 rebounds, 2 assists in 26 minutes.
Center James Wiseman, guided by Draymond Green, capped the night with 10 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assist.
The unsung hero would have to be Draymond Green who must have hollered the loudest and jumped his highest while directing traffic for 21 minutes.
Mr. Green, the de facto Warriors on-and-off-the-court general according to my friend TMAC, turned in a season high 5 points, 5 rebounds and 5 dimes (a triple single and highlight reel material).
The Sacramento Kings were drenched by the retooled Dubs who resemble the original Splash Brothers---Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.
All told, the Kings were outshot from the field with 37.8% (34/90 FG) and a paltry 28.6% (10/35 downtown) shooting.
Only three Kings reached double digits---SF Harrison Barnes, PG De'Aaron Fox for 18 points each and SG Buddy Hield for 10 points
Former Warrior Glen Robinson III scored 8 points and had 2 rebounds in 19 minutes for his new found team.

It remains to be seen if the Warriors can sustain their momentum, sparked by their back-to-back wins, against tougher opponents.
All that's needed is a healthy dose of Stephen Curry, Draymond Green's sustained leadership and promise to unlock the potential of the Warriors young guns, particularly rookie James Wiseman.
