Gervonta Davis.

Sources in Baltimore report the possibility that world champion Gervonta Davis could be involved in a hit-and-run accident in South Baltimore early Thursday morning at the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Martin Luther King Boulevard.

Baltimore police found an accident involving people with minor injuries and one of them was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

According to the police report, a vehicle did not stop at a red light and collided with another vehicle while leaving the scene.

The police do not have precise information but some sources reported that Davis was allegedly at the scene or driving the vehicle while others indicated that Davis was driving the car that ran the red light.

Last Saturday Davis knocked out Leo Santa Cruz with a surprising uppercut in the sixth round on Saturday night at the Alamodome.

There is a police announcement requesting that anyone with additional information on this incident should contact the CRASH team investigators at 410-396-2606.

Those who wish to remain anonymous can use the Metro Crime Stoppers information line at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
