CEBU CITY – Big Yellow Boxing Promotions puts up a double championship with two World Boxing Foundation (WBF) titles at stake tomorrow, Monday, at the Robinson's Galleria Cebu.

Undefeated Rey Caitom (9-0-1, 4KOs) from Cebu who is now based in Singapore will face ArAr Andales (10-2-0, 2KOs) of Cavite City for the vacant WBF world minimumweight title while Big Yellow's Clyde Azarcon (16-3-1, 6KOs) of Cebu City tangles against Mike Kinaadman (7-13-2, 5KOs) for the vacant WBF Intercontinental minimumweight title.

Rey Caitom and ArAr Andales pose during Sunday's weighin.

Caitom was one of Cebu's brightest prospects when he turned pro in 2005 winning his first five bouts. But after he drew his sixth fight against Ruel Lagunero in 2006 at age 20, he decided to hang up his gloves and later relocated in Singapore as to become a full time boxing trainer. But 12 years later in 2018 at age 32, Caitom could not contain the urge to fight and decided to come back winning three in a row.

“Many of my contemporaries have now retired. But I came back,” Caitom told PhilBoxing smiling who added that his dream of a world title was not lost in him – and which could happen tomorrow with the fringe WBF belt.

Caitom however will have a solid opponent in front of him in Andales who has already fought for a world title against WBA minimumweight world champion Thammanoon Niyomtrong although he lost by 8th round technical decision.

L-R: Clyde Azarcon, Promoter Seth Tio, Mike Kinaadman and WBF's Mick Croucher.

The promoter's promising fighter Clyde Azarcon will try to snatch the WBF Intercontinental belt against journeyman Kinaadman after failing to win the WBO Oriental title against Rene Mark Cuatro in Davao City on Aug. 21, 2018 and the WBO Asia-Pacific title against Ginjiro Shigeoka in Japan on July 27, 2019.

Below are the weights during today's official weight held at the First Five Sports Lounge at Bonifacio District in Cebu City supervised by the Games and Amusement Board officials as well as the WBF officials.
