ORLANDO, FL (May 28, 2026) – Undefeated super middleweight prospect Ronnie Alvarez (6-0, 5 KOs) is set to return to the ring on Saturday, June 13, 2026, when he faces battle-tested Filip Stankovic (9-3, 6 KOs) in an eight-round bout at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona. The contest marks the first scheduled eight-round fight of Alvarez's young professional career and will be featured on an action-packed Matchroom Boxing card, in association with Boxlab Promotions, streamed live worldwide on DAZN.
Headlining the event is a highly anticipated 12-round bantamweight world title clash between Jesse "Bam" Rodriguez and Antonio Vargas.
For Alvarez, who is co-promoted with Boxlab Promotions, Warriors Boxing and Dreambigg Promotions, this fight represents another major step forward in a career that has shown tremendous promise early on, with five knockouts in six victories. Moving into eight-round competition presents a new challenge, one Alvarez embraces as another opportunity to demonstrate his continued growth as one of boxing's rising stars.
