Carlo Magali (C).

DAVAO CITY -- Former Orient and Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) super featherweight champion Carlo "The Ferocious" Magali of Bohol will face Billel "Baby Face" Dib of Australia on Sept. 14 at Seagulls Rugby League Club in Tweed Heads, New South Wales, Australia.

"Masaya po ako dahil nabiyan po ako agad ng laban," said the 32-year old Magali.

Magali (24W-12L-3D, 13KO) recently TKO'd Nathan Bolcio of Benquet in the 1st round last Aug. 3 in Mandaluyong City.
It was not confirmed yet if Dib will be defending his WBA Oceania super featherweight title.

But one thing is for sure that the winner may next fight WBA world champion Andrew Cancio of USA.

The 30-year old Dib (23W-3L-0D, 11KO) made his second title defense by a TKO over Rey Juntilla of Cotabato in the 8th round last March 30 in Tweed Heads.

Dib was supposed to fight a South African but was removed from the WBA ratings for unknown reasons.

"Carlo is a game fighter but I am focused on the job at hand and I will show my levels and show that I am a world champion in waiting", said Dib.

"I have to put on a show on September 14 and that is exactly what I intend on doing," he added.

The promoter is Nick Midgley of Boxing Mania 7. (Lito delos Reyes)
