
"Too Sharp" Peñalosa is in light training already

DAVAO CITY -- Flyweight boxer Carlo Caesar "Too Sharp" Pe?alosa is now on his last week training and his final sparring session with former World Boxing Association Asian bantamweight champion Jestoni "Lion Heart" Autida.
"May last sparring pa ako bukas," said 26-year old Pe?alosa, who is now weighing 118 lbs.
Pe?alosa has been a sparring mate also of World Boxing Organization International flyweight champion Giemel "Pistolero" Magramo, who is scheduled to fight Komgrich Nantapech of Thailand on Sept. 7 in Taguig City.
Pe?alosa (14W-1L-0D, 7KO) will have his light training already conducted by his uncle Jonathan Penalosa at the Pe?alosa Boxing Gym located at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
He will fight Maximino "Max" Flores (24W-4L-1D, 17KO) of Mexico for a vacant International Boxing Organization World flyweight title on Aug. 25 in TV5 Studio, Novaliches in Quezon City.
Pe?alosa last fought against Watana "KKP" Phenbaan (18W-6D, 11KO) of Thailand which was knockout in the 3rd round last Feb. 16 in SM City North EDSA Skydome in Quezon City.
The promoter is Gerry Pe?alosa (another uncle of Carlo Caesar) of the Gerrypens Promotions Inc. (Lito delos Reyes).
