LAS VEGAS - Filipino - American stand-up comic Jo Koy?, was upset that Manny Pacquiao was not granted a clear Unanimous Decision nod last Saturday against his fight with Keith Thurman Jr.
The popular comic whose real name is Joseph Glenn Herbert was at ringside during the exciting welterweight match between Pacquiao and Thurman at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

?I was mad that there was a Split (Decision). I think Manny won. When he dropped him, I knew he already won it. I knew he won. I just couldn?t believe that there was a judge that had it the other way,? Jo Koy said after the fight.

Speaking briefly to a small group of Filipino-American media men who covered the event, the comedian was in awe of his kababayan?s performance in the ring in the sold-out venue.

?He (Pacquiao) won it hands down and he didn?t look like a 40-year-old in the ring. Complete dominance. He doesn?t need to retire. And I didn?t like the decision. But, he still won, that?s all that matters. But unanimous, 100 percent, not split.?

Jo Koy was referring to Glenn Feldman?s score card of 114 - 113 in favor of Thurman Jr. Feldman only had Pacquiao winning five out of the twelve rounds against the previously unbeaten American.

The other two judges, Dave Morreti and Tim Cheatham saved the night and the fight from controversy when their identical scores of 115 - 112 was announced for Pacquiao who snatched the World Boxing Association welterweight Super Champion status from Thurman Jr.
