Penalosa now ready to fight Dlamini July 12

DAVAO CITY ? Undefeated Carl ?The Hunter? Penalosa of Cebu is now ready to fight Lerato ?Lights Out? Dlamini of South Africa for the vacant World Boxing Council International featherweight title on July 12 at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The 25-year old Penalosa (15W-0L, 11KO) is a tactician fighter who can move in the ring, go inside or fight any style against the opponent.

"They will expect early rounds, one to four rounds a good fight," said Penalosa.

He is happy to be a part of the American card which is the first big card in Saudi Arabia.

Pitted in the main event is Amin Khan (33W-5L-0D, 20KO) of United Kingdom versus Neeraj Gojay (11W-3L-2D, 2KO) of India for the welterweight division.

Penalosa TKO?d Marcos Cardenas of Mexico in the 4th round to win the World Boxing Organization Orientation featherweight at the SM City North EDSA Skydome in Quezon City.

Dlamini (12W-1L-0D, 6KO) defeated Haidari Mchanio of Tanzania to win vacant International Boxing Federation Continental Africa featherweight title last Oct. 21, 2018 in South Africa. (Lito delos Reyes)
