Utsuki upsets Bolivar in early Palicte-Ioka bout

DAVAO CITY ? Lightweight Shu Utsuki of Japan knocked out Omrri Bolivar of Venezuela in the 3rd round of an upset victory Wednesday at Makuhari Messe in Chiba City, Japan.
It was the 4th knockout win and the 5th victory by Utsuki while the only 2nd loss suffered by Bolivar against in 8 wins.
In the early fights, Japan?s Shisui Kawabata TKO?d Thailand?s Mongkol Kamsommat in the 2nd round; Kiyoharu Nunozaki defeated Yuto Sekiguchi by a unanimous decision; Tomoyuki Hosaka won by a majority decision over Takahiko Noguchi.
As of press time, still on-going is the Aston Palicte versus Kazuto Ioka bout. (Lito delos Reyes)
