3rd Mayor Tina Yu Bugsayan Festival on June 22-23 in San Isidro

DAVAO CITY ? The third Mayor Tina Yu Bugsayan Festival will be held on June 22 and 23 in San Isidro, Davao Oriental.

It is organized by Bugsay Dabaw and powered by San Isidro Tourism, Mindanao Mountaineering Community and the Mountaineering Federation of Southern Mindanao.

The Bugsayan (kayak) Open category will have Single Male, Single Female, Tandem Male, Tandem Female and Tandem Mixed.

The local category will have the Single Male, Single Female and Tandem Mixed.

The other categories are the Tabanog ni Isidro and the Vinta: Layag ni Isidro.

?This is open to all paddlers, kayakers and dragon boat members,? said Dan ?Jhune? Bacus, president of Bugsay Dabaw.

The prices in the single are P3,000 for 1st, P2,000 for 2nd and P1,000 for 3rd while in the tandem are P4,000 for 1st, P3,000 for 2nd and P2,000 for 3rd.

Registration fee is P300 with souvenir singlet, ID, two snacks, one meal, drinks and raffle.
