Pound for pound fighters Manny Pacquiao of the Philippines and Juan Manuel Marquez of Mexico will come face to face with each other for the first time in almost four years when the duo will hold a press conference on Tuesday, Jan. 15 at the Rodeo Room of the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA to announce their long-awaited rematch set on March 15 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV.

Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer and Top Rank President Bob Arum will host the event.

Pacquiao and Marquez battled to a classic draw on May 8, 2004 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas where Pacquiao sent Marquez to the canvas three times in the first round only for Marquez to recover and outboxed Pacquiao in most of the remaining rounds.

Marquez vs. Pacquiao II will be for the WBC and vacant Ring Magazine Super Featherweight World Championship and is promoted by Golden Boy Promotions and Top Rank, in association with Romanza Boxing Productions and MP Promotions. The 12-round super featherweight championship bout will be produced and distributed live on HBO Pay-Per-View, beginning at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.
