DAVAO CITY -- Ron ?The American Dream? Johnson of the USA wants to fight newly-crowned world heavyweight champion Andre Ruiz after he wins the GBO Thrilla in Davao heavyweight title on June 15 at The Ednerun Tent at the Azuela Cove in Lanang.
During his appearance before the Davao Sportswriters Association, the Ohio, Cleveland warrior said: "I want to meet Ruiz after I win the Davao Thrilla. So, you guys better look forward to it."

Johnson, WBF three?belt owner said he expects a "good fight against Saul Farah, his tough Bolivian foe with a record of 95 fights (63 wins-60 KOs).

"I have ring IQ, better hand speed. I don't take my fights lightly," said Johnson, who was taken into Laila Ali's protective wings (Muhammad Ali's daughter) 18 years ago.
"Come, be ready to fight...when the bell rings, I turn like KingKong," said Johnson, addressing Farah.

"I like Davao...great city, great food, great people,? said Johnson (15W-1L, 4KO).

He praised Mayor Sara Duterte for "doing a great job making the city safe.

"?I will definitely recommend it to my friends and be a super ambassador", said Johnson. (Lito delos Reyes)
