Natuplag to fight dangerous Tejones for GBO Asia Pacific June 15

DAVAO CITY ? Undefeated KJ ?The Ipugo? Natuplag of Ifugao will take on dangerous Joe Tejones of Valencia City for the Global Boxing Organization (GBO) Asia Pacific junior lightweight title on June 15 at The Enderun Tent at Azuela Cove in Lanang this city.

The 22-year old Natuplag (8W-0L-2D, 7KO) TKO?d Digos? Robert Udtohan in the 5th round last March 8, 2019 in Angono, Rizal.
He also TKO?d Ponpasin Chulerd of Thailand in the 3rd round last Sept. 23, 2018 in Bangkok.

Natuplag retired ex-Philippine champion Danilo Pena in the 6th round last Nov. 27, 2017 in La Trinidad.

Tejones (12W-6L-0D, 7KO), on the other hand, TKO?d Magpet?s Jestonie Makiputin in the 3rd round last March 3, 2019 in Cagayan de Oro.

The 22-year old Tejones also scored a unanimous decision over Bohol?s Jason Tinampay last July 13 in CDO.

Tejones, however, lost to Yiran Li of China by a technical decision in the 7th round last May 15, 2018 in the vacant World Boxing Council Youth world featherweight title in China.
The 12-round championship fight is promoted by Rey Rodis Sr. of RED Boxing Promotions.

Pitted in the main event is the title fight between Ronald ?The American Dream? Johnson (15W-1L-0D, 4KO) of USA against Saul ?El Fenix Asesino? Farah (69W-23L-3D, 60KO) of Bolivia in the GBO World championship heavyweight. (Lito delos Reyes)
