Mananquil loses by TKO to Kobayashi in Japan

DAVAO CITY ? The Philippines? Ben ?Nightmare? Mananquil lost it via a TKO in the 10th round to Yuki Strong Kobayashi of Japan last May 26 in Osaka City University in Osaka, Japan.

It was the only 2nd loss suffered by the 27-year old Mananquil against 17 wins and 3 draws.

The 27-year old Kobayashi improved his record to 15 wins with 9 knockouts against 8 loses.

Kobayashi recently lost to Keita Kurihara by a UD to win the vacant OPBF bantamweight title last Dec. 24, 2018.

Meanwhile, Masahiro Sakamoto won the vacant WBO Asia Pacific flyweight by a TKO over 6th round over Yusuke Sakashita.
The 28-year old Sakamoto improved his record to 13 wins with 9 knockouts against 3 loses.
