Diale loses by majority decision in China

DAVAO CITY ? Former OPBF champion Arlin ?The Jackal? Diale of the Philippines lost by a majority decision to reigning WBA International flyweight champion Wulan Tuohazi of China last May 26 in Fuzhou, China.

The 28-year old Tuohazi improved his record to 12 wins with five knockouts against three knockouts and one draw.

Tuohazi won the vacant WBA International flyweight title by a unanimous decision over Ryota Yamauchi of Japan last March 39, 2019.

Diale, on the other hand, suffered his 14th loss against 35 wins with 17 knockouts and four draws.

The 30-year old Diale recently scored a majority decision on Cris Alfante to win the WBC Asian Boxing Council Continental flyweight title last July 7, 2018 in Pasay City.

Meanwhile, 25-year old Can Xu of China defended his WBA world featherweight title with a TKO over Shun Kubo of Japan in the 6th round.

It was Xu?s 17th victory and the 3rd knockout against two loses.

Carlos Canizales of Venezuela retained his WBA world light flyweight title by a unified decision over Sho Kimura of Japan.

The 26-year old Canizales improved his recovered record to 22 wins and 17 knockout with no loss and one draw.

It was promoted by Oscar Dela Hoya of Golden Boy Promotions and Lui Gang of Max Power Promotions. (Lito delos Reyes)
