Loreto TKO's Meechai in 1st round

DAVAO CITY ? Former International Boxing Organization world light flyweight champion Rey ?Hitman? Loreto of Davao City scored a 1st round knockout against Songkan Meechai of Thailand last May 19 in Kiatkikirin Fitness & Martial Art in Thailand.

It was the 14th knockout win in 25 wins against 14 lost by the 28-year old Loreto.

Loreto, who is from the Highland Boxing Promotion, also knockout Arnold Garde in Feb. 17, 2018 in Bacolod.

Loreto first knockout Nkosinathi Joyi of Thailand in the 1st round last Feb. 1, 2014 to win the vacant IBO world light flyweight title in Monaco.

He again TKO?d Joyi in the 1st round in South Africa last March 22, 2015.

Loreto, however lost to Thammanoon Niyomtrong by a unanimous decision in their WBA world minimumweight title fight at Chonburi in July 15, 2017. (Lito delos Reyes)
