MANILA -- Top Rank president Bob Arum spoke briefly to PhilBoxing.com and informed that tickets for the Pacquiao-Marquez rematch set on March 15 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas will go on sale this Friday, Dec. 21.

Ticket prices were pegged at $600, $400, $300, $200 and $100.

Arum is in the Philippines to attend the 29th birthday celebration of Filipino superstar Manny Pacquiao last Monday and to iron out any remaining hitches for the highly anticipated battle between the two pound-for-pound super featherweights.

Arum will be leaving tonight on a Philippine Airlines flight for Las Vegas.

Pacquiao's close friend and confidant Rex 'Wakee' Salud, who was with Arum, also disclosed that co-promoters Top Rank and Golden Boy are aiming to surpass the 350,000 PPV buys mark that a Pacquiao fight normally does. For this reason, they wanted Manny Pacquiao to be in the U.S. by January 15 to begin his training at Freddie Roach's Wildcard gym and to make some promotional tours for the fight.
