Soft spoken, friendly and easy to get along with, young Filipino promoter Brico Santig has achieved one of the best years for his boxing company, Highland Boxing.

The Benguet native not only succeeded in promoting some of the most exciting fight cards in the Philippines, but also in Thailand, and cooperated in boxing promotions in India, China, Singapore and Malaysia, bringing boxing to more countries in Asia than any other promoter of his generation.

The most recent promotion event for Brico Santig was the Boxing and Muay Thai show that entertained fans and attendees at the WBC 3rd Women's Convention two weeks ago in Manila, Philippines. It was an international fighting event that Santig broadcasted live to China with 9.4 million viewers.

A family man married to Thai lady Mrs. Jidapa "Must" Jirauakarrakul and father of a cute young daughter who practices Muay Thai, Brico Santig recently captured the Pacific Region OPBF Promoter for the year for 2017-2018, as well as the WBC Asia Boxing Council Promoter of the Year for the Pacific Region.

His award handed to him by the distinguished WBC Vice President Pol. Gen. Kovid Bhakdibhumi reads:

"WBC ABCO Plaque of Recognition presented to Mr. Brico Santig of the Philippines for your outstanding performance in promoting and developing professional boxing in the Asia region."

"These kind awards from WBC Asia touch my heart and motivate me and all our Highland Boxing Team to continue working for boxing... the best I can," shared a deeply moved Brico.

Brico Santig not only has interest in promoting title fights of the WBC Asia and OPBF. He has also produced battles for WBA Asia, the IBF Pan-Pacific and have plans to make regional WBO battles as the young Filipino forges excellent relations with all four major international sanctioning bodies.

Moreover, Santig constantly works on creating partnerships with a number of promoters, matchmakers and men and women of boxing across the globe, including promoters in Thailand, China, India, Malaysia, Japan, Mexico and Korea.

In his native Philippines, Brico works close with veteran Pinoy boxing outfits such as Sanman Boxing of JC Manangquil, MP Promotions, Gabriel "Bebot" Elorde Promotions, as well as newcomers to the sport as Darwin Miller Dep-ay, and more.

And in Thailand, the Kingdom where he spends much of his time as his wife and daughter live there, Santig produces boxing and muay thai cards in partnership with active promoter Supanat Chanram, a joint effort that has made some of the most exciting fights in Bangkok.

In addition to his daily work as promoter, Santig contributes to boxing as matchmaker, gym owner and manager, opening opportunities to boxers to excel in the sport they love.

Sky is the limit for Filipino Brico Santig and Highland Boxing, the young and successful boxing promotion company that contributes to boxing across Asia.
