Manny Pacquiao posted a tweet on his social media account with a picture showing his entry into Premier Boxing Champions. In the Twitter pic, the former pound-for-pound king is looking at a group of elite fighters including Mikey Garcia, Errol Spence, Shawn Porter and Adrien Broner with Floyd Mayweather at the center.

?I?m very excited about this new chapter in my career, and I?m looking forward to a fresh start,? Pacquiao stated in a report. ?My team will work closely with Al Haymon for the remainder of my career to deliver the most anticipated fights with the top PBC fighters. Those are the fights the fans want to see and the ones I want to have to close out my career.??

In the works now is Pacquiao?s first fight with PBC scheduled for January 19 against Broner. If the fight will push through it will be fought in Las Vegas, with the MGM Grand Garden Arena as the most probable venue.

Freddie Roach is very positive that a 39-year-old Pacquiao can beat Broner, who at 29 is 10 years younger. But Roach doesn?t know why that fight is being arranged. Pacquiao (60-7-2, 39 KOs) and Broner (33-3-1, 24 KOs, 1 NC) of Cincinnati are expected to tangle in a 12-round fight for Pacquiao?s WBA regular welterweight title.

Roach is interested to work again with Pacquiao for the Broner fight, but admitted that he had not heard any clue from Pacquiao if he will be rehired as trainer.

?I think Manny can beat Broner, or should,? Roach told Boxing Scene. ?But I?m not part of that at this point. So does the winner get Mayweather or something like that? Is this a buildup? Or is this a fight that they think is the greatest fight in the world? I?m not so sure what?s the reason for it. If it?s the winner gets a big fight, then I know. Then they?re doing their job. So we?ll see.?

Broner last fought a 12-round majority draw with Jessie Vargas on April 21 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Julie Lederman scored the fight 115-113 for Broner, and Eric Marlinski and Kevin Morgan had it 114-114.

Roach believes that a Manny Pacquiao in his best years would easily beat any of the top welterweights today. Roach, who worked as Pacquiao's head tactician for 16 years, was quoted by The Inquirer that the eight division world champion, in his prime, ?would have walked through all of them.?

Roach wants Pacquiao to fight Mayweather in a rematch. "The first fight was not so great, Manny had a bad shoulder injury, but that was all part of boxing,? added Roach. ?So I would like to see it one more time. His work ethic is still unbelievable. He works very hard every day. With the work ethic he has, I give him a chance with anyone out there."

Paulie Malignaggi is predicting Pacquiao to win the fight against Broner but does not rule out an upset because of age factor. "I think it's a good fight. It depends on what Pacquiao has left. Broner has an issue with closing the gap without punching. He likes to come in and then punch. Pacquiao has these long punches that he likes to throw that to prevent you from ever finding your range - especially for a fight with a style like Broner," Malignaggi was quoted by Boxing Scene.

"Let's see. Maybe Pacquiao's legs are not that good anymore and Broner is able to close that gap. Broner is very good on the inside... I think if Pacquiao has the old legs, Broner doesn't even get near him. And old legs meaning the legs that he used to have. But if he has 'old' legs, then Broner can close the gap and it's a tougher fight and probably Broner can win it."

Before a crowd of 11,461 on June 22, 2013, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, Broner defeated Malignaggi in a split decision, as one judge scored the fight 115-113 for Malignaggi, and the other two saw it 117-111 and 115-113 for Broner, as he became a three-division world champion at an early age of 23 years.
