Manny Pacquiao has announced that his next opponent is Adrien Broner. As of July 2018, Broner is ranked as the world's fourth best light welterweight boxer by the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board, and the eighth best welterweight by BoxRec. In December 2012, The Ring magazine ranked him as the world's number five boxer pound for pound.

Broner?s father trained Adrien and his twin brother, Andre, to the sport boxing at an early age of 6 years old. The Cincinnati native won world titles in three weight classes at 130 pounds, 135 pounds, and 147 pounds by the age of 23. He has since fought in a fourth weight class at 140 pounds and now strives to get to the top of the division.

Adrien got his nickname ?The Problem? from his parents, who had a problem with their son?s behavior. He was then involved with gang wars at a very early age, and gives credit to boxing for diverting him from that deadly lifestyle.

As an amateur, Broner had an impressive record of 300-19, winning the National Silver Gloves championship in 2002 and 2003, and the bronze medal at the 2005 National Junior Olympics.

Broner made his pro debut in his hometown in May 2008 at the age of 19, where he knocked out Allante Davis in just 32 seconds.

Broner lost 3 times in his career. He was defeated by Mikey Garcia, Shawn Porter and Marcos Maidana, all three via unanimous decision. He lost his WBA welterweight title to Maidana of Argentina.

A libero is a defensive specialist position in indoor volleyball added to the game in 1999 along with a set of special rules in order to provide more digs and rallies to add more excitement to the game. The libero is the only player who is not limited by the regular rules of rotation. The libero usually replaces the middle blocker position when that player rotates to the back row, but the libero never rotates to the front row. Usually, the libero plays only in the back row, can replace any one position in the back row, wears a different color jersey from the other players of the team, and does not count as a substitution.
