Thailand's power-punching Srisaket Sor Rungvisai will defend his Ring and WBC junior bantamweight titles against Mexico?s Iran Diaz at the Impact Arena, Bangkok, Thailand, on Saturday.

Sor Rungvisai (46-4-1, 41 KOs) wants to excite his hometown fans after he just edged Juan Francisco Estrada last February by majority decision on HBO's SuperFly 2 event, annexing The Ring 115-pound title to his existing WBC belt.

Iran ?MagnifiKO? Diaz (14-2-3, 6 KOs) seeks to become Mexico?s 187th world champion in professional boxing. Diaz?s most notable victories were over dangerous former world champions Hernan ?Tyson? Marquez and Luis Concepcion.

Srisaket Sor Rungvisai or Wisaksil Wangek is a two-time WBC superflyweight champion, having held the title since 2017, and previously from 2013 to 2014. Since February 2018, he has also held The Ring and lineal super flyweight titles.

As of March 2018, Sor Rungvisai is ranked as the world's best active super flyweight by theTransnational Boxing Rankings Board (TBRB) and BoxRec. He is also ranked as the world's fifth best active boxer pound for pound by BoxRec, third by the TBRB, and eighth by The Ring.

Terence Crawford?s manager and trainer Brian McIntyre pressured Top Rank Inc. to exert all efforts to make the fights Crawford wanted to happen. McIntyre saud that the only opponents whom Crawford seeks to battle after he defeats Jose Benavidez Jr. on October 13 are those fights against other welterweight champions.

McIntyre identified IBF champion Errol Spence Jr. as what Crawford wanted as a future opponent. WBC champion Shawn Porter and WBA titlist Keith Thurman are the other two 147-pound champions Crawford wants to face.

The 31-year-old Crawford will make the first defense of his WBO welterweight title against Phoenix?s Benavidez (27-0, 18 KOs) on a scheduled 12-rounder at the CHI Health Center in Crawford?s hometown in Omaha, Nebraska.

Wladimir Klitschko has warned Anthony Joshua that long-term success is not an easy task in the heavyweight division, but he is supporting the IBF, WBO, IBO and WBA champion to deliver.

Joshua defeated Klitschko by knockout in 2017 and has since maintained his perfect winning record, most recently grounding Alexander Povetkin at Wembley last month.

Klitschko dropped Joshua hard in the contest, with the British star rallying in the late rounds to score a stoppage victory in the eleventh round.

The British fighter is always associated with the very popular fight involving Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury, who both have expressed their desires to face Joshua. But Klitschko believes that the 28-year-old multiple champion is destined for a long career as the top heavyweight.

Klitschko is looking forward to Wilder's December 1 bout against Fury at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California which is considered as the biggest heavyweight match of the year.

Wilder, the WBC world title holder, used to be the sparring partner of Klitschko. While Fury scored an upset twelve round unanimous decision victory over Klitschko in November 2015 to grab the WBA, IBF, WBO, IBO world titles.
