
MOYA, AMIT MAKE WEIGHT FOR PBF SUPERFLY BELT IN NAVAL

NAVAL, Biliran Province -- Fighters make weight in Naval. Local Naval warrior Salatiel "Pakyaw" Amit, 26, of the Wild Boxing Stable weighed-in at 114.5 lbs, while Cebuano southpaw Margarito Moya, 23, of Mandaue made 114 lbs ahead of their 10-rounder rumble for the vacant Philippines Boxing Federation (PBF) Super Flyweight title Saturday night (Sep 29) here at Naval Sports Complex in the Island Province of Biliran, just north of Leyte in Central Visayas.
In the thrilling co-feature, 20 year-old Audie Dacua (3-1, 2 KO's) of Cebu's Big Yellow Boxing Stable came-in at 122 lbs., for 114.5 lbs recorded by Mark Rotilles of the Philippines-Australian Boxing Stable in Mandaue, Cebu.

Despite their seven and half difference in weight, their clash six-chapter saga is still a go. But Dacua is required by regulations to wear 12 oz gloves, and pay 500 pesos of his purse to Rotilles because the contracted weight was 115 lbs.
SUPPORTING COMBATS FOR FIGHT NIGHT IN NAVAL

Hard-hitting super featherweight Peter "Thunder" Apolinar (8-1, 6 KO's) of the Wild Boxing Stable scaled-in at 130 lbs., while fearless Jason Tinampay of Dagohoy, Bohol. tipped the GAB scale at 131 lbs for their 6-stanza war. Both 23 year-old men need a win here in Naval to push their boxing careers forward.
As a special welterweight attraction former titlist Dondon Sultan of the Wild Boxing Gym will box three rounds in an exhibition match against reigning VISPROBA 140-pounder champion Rodel Wenceslao of the Joeric Stable. Boxers will attempt to impress upon fans with who has superior boxing skills. The men will wear protective headgear.

What's more, Rolly Durong of the Joeric Stable in Mandaue, Cebu, made 110 pounds while the unbeaten Pablito Balidio (2-0, 2 KO's) of Ubay Bohol came-in at 111. Their 4-rounder is in the flyweight division and boxers can't wait for the sound of the bell.
Plus, Rhonvex Capuloy of the Big Yellow Boxing Gym recorded 124 pounds for 125 made by Roldan Maputi of Bohol. Their battle is a four-chapter match.
AMATEUR COMBATS
Four amateur boxing combats are scheduled to thrill fans in Naval. Super bantamweight amateur fighter Bryan James Wild of the Wild Boxing Gym locks horns against Jhunmark Branzuela of Carmen Boxing Club. Also, amateur boxer Rommy Biasa of the Big Yellow Boxing Stable trades blows against Clenton Santander of Liloan Boxing in super feather.
Plus, Jim Paul Dignos of the Joeric Stable in Mandaue fights Rey Sungcad of Lapu Lapu Boxing, and last but not least Alex del Rio of the Joeric Gym rumbles Kenneth Espina of Consolacion Boxing.
This boxing event in the Municipality of Naval in Biliran Province is sanctioned by Games and Amusement Board (GAB), and will be supervised by the experienced Cebu Officials Arlene M. Olondriz, Rolando "Lando" Mendoza and Glenn Sonido Agena.
Ring physician is Dr. Christopher D. Casas of Naval.
