Terence Crawford signs a new multi-year deal with Top Rank as announced by the company. "Bud" considers himself "the best fighter in the world, hands down." The WBO welterweight titlist told Boxing Scene that "ESPN is the biggest brand in sports and Top Rank is the biggest promotional company in boxing."

Crawford, Boxrec No. 1 and The Ring No. 3 pound-for-pound fighter, promised that all the super fights that the world wants to see will happen in the welterweight division.

The welterweight has the greatest champions like The Ring No. 8 pound-for-pound and IBF champion Errol Spence, WBA Super champion Keith Thurman, Shawn Porter, Danny Garcia and WBA regular champion Manny Pacquiao.

Top Rank CEO Bob Arum considers Crawford as the world?s best boxer and he wants to make the Omaha, Nebraska native as "one of the world?s most recognizable athletes.?

Crawford became undisputed light welterweight champion by beating the following opponents: Namibian Julius Indongo for the WBA and IBF titles, Puerto Rican Thomas Dulorme for the WBO title and Viktor Postol of Ukraine for the WBC title. He also held The Ring and lineal light welterweight titles.

These were easier assignments compared to the welterweight champions he wants to defeat. Crawford was also WBO, The Ring and lineal lightweight champion.

Crawford is scheduled to face fellow American Jose Benavidez on October 13 in his hometown at the CHI Health Center Omaha, Omaha, Nebraska.

Crawford became a three-division world champion after he stopped Jeff Horn via technical knockout in round 9 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Paradise, Nevada. All three judges had Crawford winning all the previous rounds at the time of the stoppage for the WBO welterweight title.
