CEBU, Philippines -- The much waited all-Filipino battle for the vacant WBO SuperFly World Title between veteran 3-division world champion ALA fighter Donnie "Ahas" Nietes (41-1-3, 23 KO's) and stormy-puncher young gun Aston "Mighty" Palicte (24-2, 20 KO's) this coming Saturday at the Forum of Inglewood, California (Sunday Sep 9 in the Philippines) will be aired in the Philippines on ABC CBN S+A; and no fan can afford to miss the crowning of a Filipino world champion.

The Nietes vs Palicte delayed telecast will start on ABC CBN S+A Sunday (Sep 9) at exactly 2:30 PM; with replays of the intriguing battle on Monday (Sep 10) at 7 PM, and again on Friday (Sep 14) at 7 PM.

Who will came out victorious with his hand being raised? Will it win the veteran, crafty, smart, calculating, experienced, skillful, cunning Donnie "Ahas" Nietes? Or will it be the heavy-hitter, hard-swinging, younger, stronger, bigger, taller, hungrier Aston "Mighty" Palicte?

It will be one heck of a fight!!

Though no matter who prevails on top of the ring, Filipino boxing fans will have a new world champion, and that is worthy of watching... unless Nietes vs Palicte ends up in a draw, which is unlikely. So you plan on watching?
