New WBA regular welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao disregarded calls for him to hang up his gloves after a very convincing knockout win over Lucas Matthysse last Sunday. "I feel good for now. Boxing is my passion and I would be lonely if I quit boxing," he told reporters. "I believe I still have two or three fights left in me."

Asked if he would face Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a rematch, the fighting senator answered ?Mayweather? If he decides to go back to boxing then that is the time we are going to call the shots,? Pacquiao said through AFP.

"But there are many other challenges, like Crawford, Lomachenko, Amir Khan and many others," he added.

Pacquiao said he wanted a rematch with Mayweather. He added he will be fighting next in November or December. ?I have the belt, so it?s up to him. If he wants to come back in boxing let?s do a second one,? Pacquiao said.

The problem is Mayweather has long retired and repeatedly said he is not coming back to boxing. And Pacquiao's fights have come against lesser fighters such as Jeff Horn, Lucas Matthysse, Tim Bradley and Jessie Vargas.

For Pacquiao to remain an elite fighter and his fights to be pay-per-view worthy, he needs to defeat notable fighters like Terence Crawford, Errol Spence Jr., Keith Thurman, Shawn Porter and Danny Garcia.

Usain Bolt of Jamaica strives for his dream of playing professional football and is almost done with a deal to trial with the A-League?s Central Coast Mariners, the Australian club reported. The 31-year-old eight-time Olympic gold medalist Bolt retired from athletics after the World Championships last August in London. He is an avid fan of the Manchester United and has long aspired to play pro football.

To keep in shape, Bolt trained with Norwegian club Stromsgodset last month and Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund in March. Football agent Tony Rallis, who has been instrumental on the deal, told Sky Sports Radio it has been agreed ?in principle? subject to a couple of benchmarks?.

Rallis said it is mainly a trial, with the course marquee funds support from governing body Football Federation Australia, adding that the arrangement was not a gimmick. ?Once the FFA comes back and says that they?ll be part of the process, we?re going to the trial? This bloke?s an ambitious athlete. The A-League needed a hero, and we got superman," he added.
