BACOLOD CITY, Negros Occidental -- An intense action clash is expected when Cris Ganoza (15-1, 8 KO's), a boxer of Cebu's Big Yellow Boxing Stable exchanges high caliber fire against local Bacolod fighter John Michael Zulueta (7-0-2, 3 KO's) for the vacant Asia Boxing Federation (AFB) 105 lbs., belt this coming Saturday (June 30) at Gaisano City Mall here in the City of Smiles, Bacolod.

The hot 12-rounder battle is a good chance for Ganoza and Zulueta to elevate their game as both boxers come from victories in February. Cris Ganoza decisioned Donny Mabao on February 25 in Iligan City, while Zuleta stopped Bonjun Loperez last February 17 here in his hometown of Bacolod.

The visitor fighter Cris Ganoza is already on the way from Cebu to Bacolod, accompanied by his trainer Christopher "Pingping" Tepora, the elder brother of July 15 world title challenger Jhack Tepora and also head-coach of Cebu's Big Yellow Boxing Stable.

So the question in the minds of boxing fans is: will the more-experienced, heavier-puncher Cris Ganoza land his damaging blows on the local Bacolod fighter Zulueta, the boxer with the adoring Bacolod crowd on his side?

Or will the hometown hero John Michael Zulueta delight his fans again with another thrilling knockout win? Fight fans will find out at Gaisano City Mall in Bacolod.
