MAASIN CITY ? Too fast and too devastating was ALA Boxing Gym fighter ?Prince? Albert Pagara (30-1-0, 21 KOs), fighting in his hometown, overpowered Laryea Gabriel Odoi (20-3-2, 14KOs) of Accra, Ghana, that the corner of the brave African warrior threw-in the white towel in signal of surrender at the 2:30 seconds mark of round 3 for a very important TKO win that earned him the WBO Intercontinental super bantamweight title and propels the young Filipino further up in the 122-pound world-rankings.

The jampacked Maasin City Gym crowd that included the city's top executives in Mayor Nikko Mercado and Vice-mayor Maloney Samaco, were ecstatic after Pagara's dominant performance who appeared to regain his old form where he once was one of the darlings of Philippine boxing until he was stopped by Cesar Juarez in 2016 for his only loss.
