Brico Santig's "Fight for Glory" Card This Friday Night in Bangkok

BANGKOK, Kingdom of Thailand -- Enthusiastic Filipino promoter Brico Santig, the winner of this year's WBC's Oriental Promoter of the Year Award, is set to stage his newest boxing plus Muay Thai fight card "Fight for Glory" this coming Friday (April 27) at Ram 100 Boxing Gym, here in Bangkok, Thailand.

In the card's main event, hard-swinging Japanese Yuya Nakamura, 27, of Osaka will engage 23 year-old Thai warrior Worraphon Jesadajindawat of Samut Prakan in the 57 kilos.

Also, Thai lightweight Vachayan Khamon collides against tough Chinese welterweight Zhen Li of the northwestern City of Urumqi, capital of the Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region. Their 8-rounder at a weight limit of 65 kilos.

In a battle of newcomers to the sport of pro boxing, 19 year-old Japanese Ryo Hashiya of Osaka clashes against 17 year-old Veelayut Yejanthuk of Nakhon Ratchasima. Their war is a 6-rounder in the 52 kilos.

Furthermore, in a battle of fight girls, cute Thai bantamweight fighter Phannaluk Kongsang, 23, of Khon Kaen battles tough 20 year-old Malaysian rockie Jia Yi Chan (Jovy Chan) of Kuala Lumpur. The 6-rounder is at a weight limit of 50 kilos.

In addition to boxing, tough Muay Thai fights are already scheduled to thrill fans.

"Fight for Glory" Friday night at Ram 100 Thai Boxing Gym in Ramkamhaeng, Bangkok, Thailand, is an effort of Filipino Promoter Brico Santig, director of Highland Boxing, in cooperation with Thai man of boxing Mr. Supanat Chanram.

Doors open at 6:30 PM.
