Filipino Junmar Dulog who fights out of Sydney, Australia has been knocked out in the third round of a scheduled eight round bout against light welterweight Lance Gostelow in what was another mismatch at the RSL Club in the Gold Coast in Queensland.
The 23 year old Gostelow has a record of 13-1 with 11 knockouts while Dulog?s record is 4-10-1 with 2 knockouts according to boxrec.com.
The end came at 2:16 of the third round when referee Cyril Cairns counted out Dulog who suffered his sixth straight defeat this year.
Last July 18 Dulog dropped a ten round unanimous decision to William Kickett fighting as a super featherweight at 128 ? pounds and then on August 10 lost by a second round TKO to a onetime sparring partner of Filipino ring idol Manny Pacquiao, Lenny Zappavigna.
Gostelow who is known as Australia?s ?Baby Faced Assassin? knocked out another Filipino, Rolando Gerongco on June 27 and scored a six round TKO over Jim Savage on August 10 clearly indicating that he was too good for the overmatched Dulog who bloated to 139 pounds for the Saturday?s bout which some Filipino boxers are forced to do in Australia in order to get fights.
