
NBA -- Jazz halts Thunder, knots series at 1-1

CHICAGO. The Utah Jazz survived a 19-0 third quarter run by the Oklahoma City Thunder to score a huge Game 2 victory on Wednesday night at the Chesapeake Energy Arena.
Donovan Mitchell continues to shine as Rookie of the Year candidate with 28 points, including 13 in the fourth quarter. Derrick Favors also had a huge output with 20 points and 16 rebounds while center Robert Gobert registered 13 points and 15 boards.
Utah, which hit 35 of 84 shots, also got 22 points and nine assists from veteran point guard Ricky Rubio.
Russell Westbrook paced OKC with 19 points, 13 assists and nine rebounds. Paul George had 18 and Carmelo Anthony added 17. But the Big 3 had a tough night offensively, making only 19 of their 58 field goals.
Game 3 is Friday night at the Vivint Smart Arena in Utah.
