The Paradise Island of Bohol is again set for another exciting evening of good boxing as Davao-born warriors Clyde Azarcon, 23, and Bojun Loperez, 24, engage in battle for the vacant Philippines Boxing Federation (PBF) Minimumweight Belt on Wednesday May 2 at the Gym of Florence Technological College in Barangay Virgen in Anda, Bohol; a rumble that no boxing fan in Anda can afford to miss.

Clyde Azarcon (12-1, 4 KO's), a rising star fighter in Cebu's Big Yellow Boxing Stable has scored a streak of 11 consecutive victories, his most recent a win by points over tough Zamboangue?o Jason Mopon last February in Iligan.

That's why his trainer Christopher "Ping Ping" Tepora, the head coach at Big Yellow Boxing has faith in him. "I feel positive about Clyde (Azarcon) because he trains hard, and gets better with each fight."

In contrast, Bonjun Loperez (10-8-1, 5 KO's), comes from a rough night at the hands of undefeated Benguet 108-pounder John Michael Zulueta (7-0, 3 KO's) last February in Bacolod where he lost tough.

That is the reason why Loperez perceives his battle against Clyde Azarcon as the springboard to get back into the winning column.

The question is, will Loperez be able to accomplish success May 2 by soundly beating the well-trained Clyde Azaron... or will it be Azarcon the one to continue his ongoing success overpowering Loperez to capture the PBF belt? You have to be Anda to see it.

CO-MAIN EVENT: AN EXCITING CLASH OF UNDEFEATED

The main supporting bout could not be more heated. It's the thrilling clash of two undefeated hard-swinging trains: Boholano 108-pounder Roldan Sasan (5-0, 3 KO's) of Carmen climbs the ring to target tough 22-year old southpaw Mark Vicelles (7-0, 4 KO's), a Mindanao warrior born in Sultan Kudarat.

In his last outing last February, the Boholano Sasan destroyed Dave Maningkil in Talibon; while Mark Vicelles, now living in Valencia, Bukidnon, ravaged unheralded Gensan boxer Daryl Monggon four weeks ago in Lugait.

This is by far the most difficult task for both Vicelles and Sasan... and who will prevail..??

There's only one way to know.

MORE FIGHTS

In other fights of the evening, Flyweight Richard Rosales (12-6-2, 7 KO's) of Talibon, Bohol, will collide against 25 year-old Bukidnon southpaw Delfin de Asis, the boxer with he last name of a Saint.

Rosales, 24, comes from a hard-fought loss by points in Thailand; while Delfin de Asis (8-4, 6 KO's) exudes confidence about his two consecutive knockout victories this year, one in CDO in January and his most recent one three weeks ago in Iligan.

Is de Asis going to continue his 2018 knockout streak.. or will Rosales bounce back to score his much needed win?

Also, in a clash the bantamweight division, local unbeaten Bohol warrior Johnriel Castino (3-0, 2 KO's) of Guindulman will battle 61-fight veteran Rogen Flores (14-41-6, 7 KO's) of Dipolog.

Will the young gun overpower the veteran... Or will the old warrior pull off the win..??

The card May 2 in Anda, Bohol, is an effort of Kap Flor Garcia Promotions in coordination with veteran matchmaker/promoter Edgar L. Ricafort of Jimdomar Boxing.
