Donnie Nietes' trainer Edmund Villamor is confident that the longest reigning Filipino world champion will successfully hurdle two-division world champion Juan Carlos Reveco in the undercard of ?Superfly 2? at the Forum in Inglewood, California. ?This is our biggest fight because it?ll be shown on HBO. I believe that our chance of winning is a hundred percent,? Villamor was quoted by SunStar Cebu.

The ALA Gym trainer thinks Reveco?s fighting style is a perfect fit for Nietes because he doesn?t come in. ?Donnie has a longer reach. Donnie?s jab will be very useful. We will be in front of him all the time.? Still Villamor thinks that they should not be too complacent even if they have the advantage. ?Yes (we will fight technically), because he?s a two division world champion and can?t be taken lightly,? he added.

"I waited so long for this opportunity. Just watch the fight and see how the snake strikes," said Nietes during the final presser at the Westin Hotel in Los Angeles.

The 34-year-old Reveco just simply said he was just proud to be fighting against the best in the flyweight division. "I am happy to be here with the rest of the best in my division," said the Argentinian challenger, a former WBA light-flyweight and flyweight champ.

During the official weigh-in, Reveco was overweight by 0.2 lb. in his first attempt at the scale but later was able to make it at exactly 112 lbs. Nietes tipped the scales at 111.6 lbs in his first try.

For the WBA world flyweight championship, the protagonists Brian Viloria (38-5, 23 KOs) and his Ulrainian foe Artem Dalakian (15-0, 11 KOs) both came at 111.4 lbs. Viloria will be targeting his fifth world title.

Undefeated Filipina-Australian Louisa Hawton (7-0, 3 KOs) will be contesting against Mexico's Anahi Torres for the WBC international light flyweight title. Hawton weighed in at 107.2 lbs, while Torres just equaled the 108-lb limit.

?It?s always great, I?ve done it in the past with [Nonito] Donaire with [Manny] Pacquiao,? Viloria told ABS-CBN on his chance to fight along side fellow Filipino Nietes. ?It?s always great to have that camaraderie and have that, Filipino fans and the nation rooting behind you, especially with a card like this and the world title fights, it?s a great feeling.?

Now, Nietes will have a longer reach and a broader fan base with his HBO debut. This will be his third time to fight in the US, but it will be his first show in the iconic Fabulous Forum in Los Angeles. ?Of course I'm really very happy that for the first time I will fight here in the US and all over the world will be able to see.?

The Ring ranks Nietes as No. 1 flyweight contender while Reveco is at No. 3. Dalakian is at the No. 9 rank while Viloria is at No. 10. The Ring title remains vacant for the flyweight division.
