REIGNING International Boxing Federation (IBF) world super flyweight champion Jerwin "Pretty Boy" Ancajas will pay a courtesy call to Presidential daughter and City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio tomorrow (Feb. 23) in Davao City.

Ancajas will be accompanied by Games and Amusements Board (GAB) Commissioner Mar Masanguid and the staff of the GAB Davao Field Office headed by Officer-in-Charge Datu Fahd Sinsuat.

The 26-year od Ancajas had just retained his world title via a 10th round technical knockout win against Mexican Israel Gonzalez last February 3 at the Bank of America Center, Corpus Christi, Texas, USA.

Ancajas was given a heroes' welcome at his own hometown in Panabo City today. Ancajas's manager-trainer Joven Jimenez, however, was not around as he was also in Bukidnon visiting his own family.

Ancajas was awarded plaques of recognition by Rep. Tonyboy Floirendo and Panabo City Mayor James Gamao.
