Brian Viloria is now training full blast at the Wild Card Boxing Gym where he is in serious preparation for his bout against Artem Dalakian for the vacant WBA flyweight title at the Forum in Inglewood, California on February 24. When asked by BoxingScene about what does he know about his Ukrainian foe, he answered, "Not that much actually. I've been told to look over some tapes on him and try to figure him out and what his style is. As far as I'm concerned he has that typical European-style, stick-your-hand-out, straight up fighter." Dalakian (15-0-0, 11KOs) is a knockout artist but has not fought big names as a pro.

Viloria-Dalakian is in the undercard of the "SuperFly2" event. The "Hawaiian Punch" stated that he had no big thoughts of moving up to 115-pounds as of the moment. He grabs the present opportunity to fight for the flyweight title. "There was a little discussion of it. I spoke to my manager, Gary Gittlesohn about it but this opportunity for 112 opened up for me and it's a chance to get another world title."

Viloria (38-5, 23 KO's) has won world titles at 108 and 112 pounds in the past. "I'll perhaps go up to 115 after this fight," said Viloria. He is a former unified WBA and WBO flyweight champion, and also a former WBC and IBF light flyweight champion. His nickname of "The Hawaiian Punch" was first given to him by Jesus Salud, a fellow Hawaiian of Filipino descent and also a former world boxing champion.

As for the co-feature of "Superfly 2," former WBC super flyweight world champion Carlos Cuadras (36-2-1, 27 KO?s) will clash with two-time world title challenger McWilliams Arroyo (16-3, 14 KO?s). In the main event, WBC super flyweight world champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai (43-4-1, 39 KO?s) of Thailand will defend his title for the second time against former world champion and No. 1 contender and mandatory challenger Juan Francisco "El Gallo" Estrada (36-2, 25 KO?s) of Mexico.

Cesar Juarez fights for the interim WBO super bantamweight title against Isaac Dogboe in the The Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra, Ghana. The 25-year-old Juarez will have the hometown disadvantage as he clashes the tough African fighter who has not tasted defeat in his boxing career. Juarez (25-5, 15 KOs) and Dogboe (17-0, 11 KOs) will collide for twelve rounds that will test the mettle of both protagonists, especially Juarez who is true to his monicker "Corazon," has a true warrior's heart.

"I do not care about all that, in the ring there will only be one rival: Dogboe and I will destroy him, he will not take a step back," said the Mexican from the camp of Fernando Beltran of Zanfer Promotions, referring to the adverse crowd during the fight. It was Juarez who handed Prince Albert Pagara his first defeat and almost wrested the world title from Nonito Donaire. His long dream is to be crowned world champion someday.

"I'm more than ready, anxious, the fight will be exciting, I will arrive like never before with my physical and mental conditions, I will impose a very strong rhythm, hitting the soft areas and the head, I'm not thinking that the African's rhythm will hold me off, nothing or nobody will take away my dream of crowning myself as a boxing world champion," Juarez was quoted by BoxingScene.

UFC President Dana White will pursue with his plan to join the boxing market this year. White associated with Showtime to promote the box-office hit pay-per-view showdown of former five division world champion Floyd Mayweather and UFC superstar Conor McGregor. It successfully earned 4.3 million buys in North America, the second highest grossing pay-per-view fight in history second to Mayweather vs. Pacquiao which sold 4.6 million PPVs in 2015.

"When we did the Mayweather fight, I just watched and took it all in. I just think that all these guys... the guys who are promoting boxing today are bad at it - I don't think they do a good job, but I can do better. I know it sounds arrogant, but it's the truth. I think I can do a better job than these guys do. I think we can do it a lot better, a lot better," White told Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports. "I think that we can actually add something to the sport, I think that we can raise the level of the sport of boxing and I'm interested in doing it."

In boxing, the purse of the top boxers is totally different in the UFC. The boxers at the main events are making remarkably bigger money than the top fighters who fought in the UFC. White said he has an action plan, he will use a scale in a way that he pays the top fighters bigger purse, while supporting the whole undercard with exciting fights similar to those of the UFC's events. White again hit Bob Arum, saying that Arum's multi-year television deal with ESPN was mediocre.
