Recky ?The Terror? Dulay was annihilated by Dardan Zenunaj at the House of Blues in Boston, Massachussets. The Kosovo-born Zenunaj (14-3-0, 11 KOs) of Albania utterly defeated Dulay (10-3-0, 7 KOs) for the vacant WBO NABO super featherweight championship. Zenunaj floored Dulay twice in round one and then sent him to the canvas again in the third round. The referee stopped further punishment at 1:50 of round three.

Before the loss, Dulay was rated the World Boxing Association (WBA) No. 8 and NABO No. 1 super featherweight contender. He would slide down in ratings after the loss. While Zenunaj is a former WBA international super featherweight champion. Dulay tipped the scales at 130 lbs. heavier than Zenunaj who weighed 129 lbs. This time he was trained at the Leo Santa Cruz gym by a Mexican trainer, as reported by Dr. Ed de la Vega.

Dulay previously scored an upset, a 3rd round knockout against previously unbeaten Panamian Jaime Aboleda last July 15 at the Forum in Inglewood. He was then trained by former world champion Rodel Mayol at the Wild Gym, the same trainer for Ashton Palicte and Romero Duno. The Catarman, Northern Samar native was the huge underdog during that fight. But the result was a complete reversal of the pre-fight predictions.

Dulay suffered a first round technical knockout loss to American Gervona Davis in 2015 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas because he fought without adequate training. It was reported that he had problems with his previous manager. His third loss was handed by fellow Filipino Robert Lerio now residing in Australia by majority decision in 2013. When he retired in 2015, Lerio has more losses than wins in his pro career.

?I was hit at the jaw which caused my knees to wobble,? Dulay was quoted by Lito de los Reyes. ?I don't know why I lost now but I want to fight again. Sorry for the defeat. Thank you for your prayers. I really apologize. I did everything but that's all I can do,? added Dulay in local dialect. ?We just have to bounce back,? said Dulay?s manager Rey Rodis Jr. He said that his boxer can still come back with a fight in November.

WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder says he still wants to fight Luis Ortiz even if he was tested positive for drugs. ?I will be fighting November 4 at the Barclay Center still,? said Wilder on Instagram. ?It?s all up to the WBC. Whatever they want to do with it. I already put in the request that I still want to fight him no matter what, because if these motherf***ers gonna do these PEDs, they?re just gonna do it."

Juan Manuel Marquez believes that the Canelo Alvarez vs. Gennady Golovkin match was very close and could go for either boxer, but in the end he thinks GGG was the winner. "Canelo had a good defense, very active," said Marquez as quoted by BoxingScene. "He let a couple of rounds slip through and he could have won any of them, but I had Golovkin as the winner. Golovkin did miss a lot more than he landed on Canelo. He should have did more than just follow Canelo around."

Manny Pacquiao was in Beijing, China and graced the Dancing Sports and MP Promotions in staging a nine-fight boxing card to kick off the Belt and Road World Champion Tour. ?I hope someday, I will bring my fight to China,? Pacquiao was quoted by PhilStar. ?This is the beginning of a partnership, the start of a relationship to promote professional boxing in China." They planned to conduct four to five boxing cards in different parts of China a year.

Panoncillo said the WBO made its debut in China eight years ago and is committed to support individual fighters from China with the potential to become world champions. ?We congratulate Sen. Pacquiao, Dancing Sports and the Professional Boxing Commission of China for collaborating to promote boxing in China," said Panoncillo. "We recognize Sen. Pacquiao as the people?s champion and we?re proud of him as a member of the WBO family.?

Former four division champion Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez (46-2, 38 KOs) is very interested to fight with WBA champion Kal Yafai (22-0, 14 KOs), who is scheduled for a defense on October 28 against Sho Ishida. If he wins, then Gonzalez would like to face him sometime in February. Even if he lost two times to Srisaket Sor Rungvisai, Gonzalez is ranked No. 2 by the WBA which means he is close to an encounter with Yafai.

"It is a blessing to know that the WBA has placed me at No. 2 in the rankings. I am grateful to WBA President Gilberto Mendoza for this opportunity," Gonzalez told El Nuevo Diario. "I would be delighted to face the English champion Khalid Yafai, but there is also a possibility to fight with WBO champion Naoya Inoue. My next fight could be made in February," he was quoted by BoxingScene.

Twenty years have passed since the infamous "Bite Fight" where Mike Tyson was disqualified after biting off a chunk of Evander Holyfield's right ear during their rematch in June 1997. During the WBC 55th annual convention in Baku, Holyfield told reporters that he was never afraid of Tyson and always felt that he could defeat him anytime. "They said I wasn't as good because I had not defeated Tyson, but I was not afraid of anybody," Holyfield told Carlos Zulbaran.

Holyfield continued that they fought and he stopped Tyson, so they went back to do it again and said "He bit me twice in the same fight. I knew I could beat him." He stated that with those bites he understood that "Mike was afraid because when you do something like that, it's because you want to run and not fight. When I fought with my brothers, I would bite them and then run, so it was the same situation. Biting me was the easiest way out of the fight."
