From the photo of Hekkie Budler visiting the canvas in that flash knockdown in the last round which helped Melindo retain his world title... to Melindo's commendable effort. From images of Sultan and Casimero slugging it out in a no-quarters war to a photo of Jason Pagara's receiving a bombastic body shot, here are my Top 20 Pinoy Pride 42 Clash for Glory photos, which I shoot from the edge of ringside during the memorable fight night last Saturday (Sep 16) at the Waterfront Cebu City.
These fight photos are dedicated to the memory of my dear boxing brother in heaven Mr. Ronnie Nathanielsz, who used to be part of the Pinoy Pride events, and so much he enjoyed them through the years. Ronnie, you are greatly missed.
Finally, kudos to all the fighters who competed in PP42, the Filipino boxers as well as the visiting fighters; and congrats as well to the ALA organizers. Indeed, they all deserve our warmest applause for a terrific work so well done. Let's now look forward to Pinoy Pride 43 and here is the one last look at my top 20 PP42 fight photos. Hope you like them.
