Former five division world champion and pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather believes Conor McGregor has a hard time making the weight for their much hyped encounter. Commeting to FightHype, Mayweather said it seemed the Irish UFC champ McGregor looked "extremely heavy" and suspected he would not make the 154-pound limit. "Conor McGregor is extremely heavy right now," Mayweather said. "I think he's 164 so he's still got 10 pounds to go."

However the MMA fighter turned boxer could face a heavy penalty if he is unable to weigh within the 154-pound limit. "I get that extra money if you can't make the weight," Mayweather said. "Get those extra millions ready. UFC get those extra millions ready. The former pound-for-pound king added: "You got to get that weight down like a true champion. A true champion is disciplined and very responsible but we'll see."

Anthony Joshua admitted that he probably would lose if he will engage in a mixed martial arts match. But Joshua thinks McGregor will face an even tougher opponent than he would fighting a top UFC fighter because the Irish UFC superstar will face the best boxer of this generation in their 12-round, 154 pound boxing match at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

?It?s a landslide,? Joshua told Sky Sports. "Look at the great fighters Mayweather?s fought, and he?s made them look average. Some of the fighters Mayweather?s fought would probably beat Conor McGregor as well. Conor can?t really compete."

The audience for Terence Crawford?s win against Julius Indongo in his amazing ESPN debut was more or less the same viewership as the undisputed champion attracted for his previous fight on HBO. According to the ratings by Nielsen Media Research, an average of 965,000 viewers watched Crawford demolish previously unbeaten Namibian champion in an all title unification fight in Lincoln, Nebraska. Crawford knocked out Indongo in the third round after landing a hard booming left hand to Indongo?s body that floored the African fighter lying flat on his back, before a Crawford-dominated crowd at the Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Miguel Cotto said he is not worried with all the world's attention to the Floyd Mayweather Jr.-Conor McGregor fight which fallas on the same night as his bout with Yoshihiro Kamegai. HBO will televise the Cotto-Kamegai bout as the main event of a ?World Championship Boxing? for the vacant WBO junior middleweight title in StubHub Center in Carson, California.

And it is possible that the Cotto-Kamegai match could end before the Mayweather-McGregor showdown begins. Showtime Pay-Per-View will televise Mayweather-McGregor at a cost of $99.95 in HD .?I arrived here in L.A. at the beginning of July to start my training time,? Cotto said in a conference call. ?I?ve only come here with one thing on my mind, and that?s just getting ready for Kamegai. And I?ve been doing a great job here in L.A., and I have no time and no space in my mind to think about another thing, you know."
