Result from Japan: Dacquel Retains OPBF Belt

Filipino OPBF Super Flyweight Champion Rene Dacquel successfully defended his OPBF belt by scoring a clear 12-round unanimous decision win over tough Japanese challenger Hayato Kimura today (July 19) at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan.

Official scorecards were 115-113, 116-112 and 117-111 all in favor of the Dacquel, who is currently ranked as WBC # 17.

In the above photo, the winner Rene Dacquel (20-6-1, 6 KO's) with his trophies and belt celebrates with promoter Mr. Ryuta Kato, director of United Boxing Gym. Congratulations!
