THE Highland Boxing Gym from the Philippines has finally opened its branch in Bangkok, Thailand.

?It?s a dream come true for us,? said proprietor Brico Santig, an international boxing promoter, manager and matchmaker from the Philippines.

Highland started as a Muay Thai gym in La Trinidad, Benguet in 1998 before it added boxing in 2005.

Highland was able to produce several world and international boxing champions including former IBO world light flyweight champion Rey ?Hitman? Loreto and Women?s International Boxing Association (WIBA) International light flyweight champion Jujeath ?Bad Girl? Nagaowa.

Santig later partnered with 8-division world champion Manny Pacquiao?s cousin Rene Pacquiao to open a branch in Manila - the MP Highland Boxing Gym located along Morayta St. fronting the Far Eastern University gym in 2016.

The third and latest gym, which is also named the Thailand Heroes Sports Center-Highland Boxing Gym is located at 329 Lat Phrao 94 High School Town in Town, Wang Thongtang, Bangkok.

Santig?s brother-in-law Supanat Chanram is the gym manager while the trainers are Jayvee Alipio and Geboi Mansalayao.

The formal opening last July 1 was attended by Thailand?s no. 1 promoter Suchat Picitwuttinan and popular Muay Thai fighter Nung ?Beautiful Boxer? Tom.

Loreto is also arriving on July 8 to continue his training at the Highland Boxing Gym in Bangkok for his slated championship fight with WBA world minimumweight champion Knockout CP Freshmart a.k.a. Thammanoon Niyomtrong.

The Highland gym has all the amenities needed in boxing, fitness training and Muay Thai.

?For the first 20 enrollees, you can get a free tshirt,? said Santig.

The gym is offering a discount price of only 3,500 baht for three months this month. For reservation or inquiry, contact 064 235 1666 or 089 077 4434.
