DMITRY BIVOL STOPS CEDRIC AGNEW

LAS VEGAS -- Interim WBA World light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol of Saint Petersburg, Russia won via 4th round TKO over Cedric Agnew of Chicago, Illinois on the undercard of the Andre Ward vs Sergey Kovalev unified world light heavyweight title rematch at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino Events Center here Saturday night.

Bivol knocked down Agnew in round 1 and in round 4, Referee Russell Mora waives off the contest at 1:27 of the round after repeated unanswered punches by Bivol over Agnew.

Bivol has now won 11 straight in his undefeated career while Agnew dropped to 29-3-0 win-loss-draw with 15 stoppages.
