Manny Pacquiao?s wife, former Sarangani Vice Gov. Jinkee (nee Jamora) said she and her children won?t be standing on the way of her husband?s career, now that his boxing days are numbered.
?We, myself and the children know naman na, gaya nang dati, gusto ni Manny na magkasama-sama kami bago siya umalis para lumaban muli," Jinkee told Spin.Ph Tuesday when she visited Pacquiao?s training at the Elorde Gym in Pasay City.
?But kung makasasagabal yun sa preprasyon niya, handa naman din ako and the children mag-sakripisyo nang mahaba-haba pa,? Jinkee assured in reference to siblings Jimuel, Michael, Princess, Queenie and Israel.
Jinkee was reacting to the fighting senator?s present predicament on whether to move his training camp to General Santos City or stay in Manila until Team Pacquiao leaves for Australia for his coming fight with Australian challenger Jeff Horn.
Pacquiao is defending his World Boxing Organization welterweight crown against Horn on July 2 in Brisbane, Queensland?s Suncorp Arena.
And as in his previous 67 fights, the three-time fighter of the year wants to be with Jinkee and children before departing for wherever his fights are held.
The current World Boxing Organization welterweight titlist and Jinkee, a 38-year-old former beauty consultant and herself a stunner, were married in 2000 when Pacquiao had already compliled an impressive 27-2 win-loss record and, in fact, had won the World Boxing Council junior-flyweight champion.
From then, Jinkee stands by his husband?s side in all his next fights, including 11 world title victories in eight weight divisions, the only man in the history of boxing achieve the feat.
?Wnen I gave birth to Jimuel and Michael simultaneously a year after our marriage, kasama na rin sila sa kaligayahan, pag nananalo, at pag-iyak pag natatalo,? she said.
?It?s been a very long time na, no? Tagal na naming nagtitiis lahat, kasama na si Manny and the rest of our children. Buti nga ngayon skype na,? she narrated.
Jinkee revealed. ?On the day I left GenSan, Napag-usapan na namin yung whether they will be transferring doon.?
?I told the children the possibility of that not happening because of the present situation in Mindanao. And, yun nga, baka ma-distract ang ensayo," she said.
Ilang laban na lamang naman and he will be retiring. Magkakasama-sama na rin kami nang matagal.?
Jinkee said though she will be joining heer husband in his Australian trip.
