Gensan southpaw Eden Sonsona, a former WBC Silver International super featherweight titlist, officially signed to fight under the banner of Sanman Promotions.

Sanman CEO Jim Claude ?JC? Manangquil informed philboxing that their plan is to give another fight for Eden before stepping up in a big fight. They also plan for a regional title fight on February.

?He still rusty due to 18 months of inactivity but I am sure one more fight and he will be back to his world class form,? Manangquil stated.

Sonsona made his debut with Sanman with an 8 round majority decision win over Jaime Barcelona last weekend.

The 27 year old Sonsona has a record of 35W-6L-2D,12KO?s. His biggest win was against the previously unbeaten Mexican Adrian Estrella, who was stopped in the second round last year in their fight for the vacant WBC International Silver belt.

Sonsona, known as ?Mr.Showboat?, is also a former Philippine bantamweight champion. He had losses fighting abroad in Japan, Thailand and South Africa. But Manangquil is confident that he will be fine addition to the Sanman Team.
