
PETALCORIN, SONSONA MAKE WEIGHTS IN BRAWL AT THE MALL

FORMER interim WBA World light flyweight champion Randy ?Razor? Petalcorin (24W-2L-1D-18 KOs) and current Mindanao Professional Boxing Association (Minproba) light flyweight champion Arnold Garde (7W-3L-2D-3 KOs) both made their weights today (Dec. 3) at the Robinson?s Mall in General Santos City.
Petalcorin made 108 lbs. while Garde submitted 107 lbs.
Both are confident of winning their 12-round title fight for the vacant IBF Pan Pacific light flyweight crown, which headlines the ?Braw at the Mall: Return of Gensan?s Finest? co-promoted by Sanman Promotions and Peter Maniatis Events.
Games and Amusements Board Commissioner Fritz Gaston had supervised the official weigh-in in coordination with promoters Jim Claude ?JC? Manangquil and Dexter ?Wangyu? Tan. They were assisted by the GAB Davao Field Office led by OIC Arlene Olondriz.
Former WBC International Silver super featherweight champion Eden ?Mr. Showboat? Sonsona (34-6-2-12KOs) and his opponent Minproba featherweight champion Jaime Barcelona (39-60-1-10KOs), who will see action in the main supporting bout tipped the scales at 134 and 131 lbs., respectively.
Two undefeated fighters from Sanman - World Boxing Federation (WBF) International featherweight champion John Vincent ?Mulawin? Moralde (17W-8 KOs) and bantamweight champion Mike ?Magic? Plania (12W-5KOs) also both made their weights yesterday.
Moralde and his opponent Joas Apericio (12-17-1-9KOs) both made 125 lbs.
Plania submitted 122 while his opponent Minproba lightweight champion JP Macadumpis (11-7-1-5KOs) only had 121 lbs.
