Much more awaited than the Manny Pacquiao vs. Jessie Vargas title fight is the co-main event on November 5, Nonito Donaire vs. Jessie Magdaleno WBO world super bantamweight championship.

The undefeated Magdaleno has been calling out Donaire for quite a long time now. He is nine years younger than the Filipino Flash and pointing out the age factor as his prime advantage over the WBO champ.

"I think Nonito is no longer in his prime. He's a little old at nearly 34-years-old. He's been in a lot of wars," Magdaleno said to ESPN.

The Las Vegas native even dyed his hair blond to boost his confidence. He is too confident that his quick actions and superior power could catapult him to victory against the four-division champion.

"Nonito is a fighter who still has the punching power, but he will face a young fighter who will be ready - with quick reflexes, speed, punching power. I don't think it's going to be his night, it's going to be mine - because I feel for this fight I'm coming in there at my best, it's the perfect time," he added.

Donaire admitted he will be facing a tough challenger in Magdaleno who for a long time has been dreaming of a world title belt. His only strap so far was a minor WBO NABO Youth superbantamweight crown won against Jonathan Arellano in 2012.

"Jessie is a great challenger, a mandatory title defense and I know he?s hungry because he has been calling me out on social media,? said Donaire in Boxing Scene.

But he said he was not intimidated by all the trash talk and psywar his foe hurled at him at the media. He said he is performing well with his new trainer and promised fans an explosive bout come fight night.

?I am working great with my new trainer Ismael Salas. We are learning about each other and he?s instructing me on a more precise, compact way of fighting while still being very explosive as everyone is going to see on Nov. 5,? added the 2012 Fighter of the Year.

Donaire was quoted by Ronnie Nathanielsz describing his opponent. "He's very quick but he has a lot of tendencies I can take advantage of. I?m really excited.? He said Magdaleno's movements are very similar in all his fights and he has studied them.

Magdaleno has everything in his mind about wresting the title from Donaire. "Since the age of eight. Since the day I laced the gloves on, since the day I won my first amateur title, it's been a dream," he said in Los Angeles Daily News. "I'm focused, I'm ready to go. And on Nov. 5, we're going walk out of that ring with that dream."

And that makes the Donaire-Magdaleno tussle more exciting.
