GOLOVKIN A BIG HIT IN MEXICO

Boxing Superstar and Unified Middleweight World Champion GENNADY ?GGG? GOLOVKIN, (36-0, 33 KO?s) was in Mexico City for a World Boxing Council/HUBLOT event as the two companies have partnered to support the goal of helping retired boxers with financial and health problems and turned out to be a big hit..

The WBC reported ?While in Mexico City, Golovkin was a big hit with local fans and media, meeting with a very large contingent of local press in addition to retired boxing legends JULIO CESAR CHAVEZ SR., ROBERTO DURAN, ROY JONES JR. and HUBLOT CEO RICARDO GUADALUPE.

Accompanying Golovkin were promoter TOM LOEFFLER of K2 PROMOTIONS and his longtime trainer ABEL SANCHEZ.

Loeffler noted ?The response that Gennady receives in Mexico from media and fans has continued to increase since our first visit here,It was great to visit with Julio Cesar Chavez Sr., Roberto Duran and Roy Jones Jr. along with Mauricio and our friends at the WBC in addition to becoming acquainted with HUBLOT.?

Sporting a record of 36-0 with 33 knockouts, Golovkin is known as ?The Most Exciting, Hardest-Hitting, Most Feared Fighter in the World.? From recently selling out arenas in New York City (Madison Square Garden), Los Angeles (The Fabulous Forum) and London (The O2) totaling 55,000 fans in consecutive fights to his sponsorships with the JORDAN Brand, Apple, Samsung, EXPO 2017 and Bijan, Golovkin is one of the most marketable boxers in the world. He is the holder of the WBC, WBA, IBF and IBO Middleweight World Titles.

Golovkin?s record includes 23 straight knockouts in addition to 17 consecutive world title defenses. His 91.7% knockout ratio is the highest in boxing?s middleweight division history.
